Obsessed with this site! Hello from Northern AZ!

I'm totally in love with this site, AND with my baby chicks! I've had them for 3 weeks now and couldn't be happier. I've read so much on the care of these little sweeties and really appreciate the advice and great info available here. What a wonderful community!

I live in one of Northern Arizona's beautiful canyons, and have several neighbors who also raise chickens. I'm having so much fun watching the flocks personalities develop!

I keep trying to update "my coop" in the profile area and it won't update, so here's the scoop on my first-time flock of 7...

1 Dark Rhode Island Red, 2 Ameraucanas, 2 Black Australorps, 1 Barred Rock, 1 Partridge Plymouth Rock, and 2 adorable pound puppies to watch over them!

Welcome! I live Surprise for now but have a home in Snowflake where I hope to be soon ... anyone want to buy a home with a pool!? I'm thinking positive tho as I bought 12 chicks ( Barrd Rocks, Buff Orpingtons and Silver Lace Wyndottes ) and like you, having a blast watching them grow! I can't wait to get up to Snowflake and add more, find a Rooster and have my Alpaca's delivered. They are all going to share a half fenced acre complete with corals and a Barn Styled Coop! Please ... someone come buy my home so I can get moved up there now!! I am addicted to chickens and have the fun of working for a family on 4 acres with free range chickens to spoil!
I am also addicted to BYC! This place has been a wealth of information
