We have a tiny backyard with 19 chickens , they already ate all the grass. Plus our feed bill would be going over the roof! With our two bunnies our animal expenses are really high! I hope I can withstand this chick season.

I am a chicken addict. I do not count my chickens or other birds, but i estimate i may have had as many as 250 at some point. Along with goats, pigs, rabbits and fish.
I recently turned 65 and have been cutting back. My husband had to take care of my creatures when i flew to Florida to attend my Mother's funeral. He was not impressed. Even though i sold about 50 chickens before i went. I have sold more since then. It is nice to have less chores. But i ordered some chicks the other day. I couldn't help myself! Considering canceling the order, but have not done so yet.
