Obvious Male?

I know this may sound silly but is the silkie on the left male? "It" doesn't have any of the trademark markings that I have read about on here like the feathers out the back of the neck. As far as I am aware, both silkies in the picture are the same age (3 months old). "It" also does not have any fur whatsoever on his legs. All of my other silkies have fur on their legs.

That's no silkie. It's probably a crossbreed. No silkie looks like that. your other one looks normal. All Silkie's have feathered feet. They don't have standard combs like that, they have mulberry combs.(pictured below)

Yes, that looks like a male, though I've never seen a silkie like that before.

Thank you :) would you happen to guess or know what breed it is crossed with? Now I REALLY don't know if it is male or female!
 
For starters, where did you get your silkies? You could try to ask about it.

this is beyond my experience, I hope someone else knows :idunno
