She does look like an Australorp but they’re usually friendly

She's not "unfriendly", just more skittish than the RI Reds and Sapphire Gems. She likes to run from me so she can put herself up in the coop. (The others are spoiled and like to be carried ;-).

I'll take a look tomorrow morning. If she's an Australorp, what color should the bottom of her feet be? One thing that is different about this girl, she likes to "sing". Since I'm a chicken first-timer, I'm enjoying learning about the different breeds and their traits.

1 year later...
6 birds have been 3 for a few months . 1 SG turned out to be a meana*s rooster, so he went to my BFFs house to terrorize her hens. My red sex link and 1 RIR flew into the dog run and my male Lab brought them to me (as any good bird dog should)...
And my sweet black question mark chicken is a wonderful Austrolorp with the sweetest disposition. She can't wait to see me in the morning, chortles and sings, lays 5/6 eggs a week. What a GREAT BIRD!!!
I just picked up 3 chicks from a breeder to add to my 1 y/o hens. 2 are "Americaunas" (we shall see...) and a cream legbar... More to come
