Ockty was found a few days before in a hollowed out log with a clutch of eggs. Today they finally hatched! She has three beautiful babies so far. She is very protective over them and will peck anyone who comes close.

Today was the chicks' first time out in the big world. While the mother scratched, they would eat pretty much anything they could find. Ockty attacked the roosters, the cat and the dog when they got to close to her family.
