One more pip this morning! It's a good thing I have an extra heat lamp, though. My incubator couldn't get warm enough in my kitchen, as it was too cold. I had to hang a heat lamp from the cabinet above the incubator. That got it from the 92.5 it was stuck at while testing the hatcher to 99.3. Can't wait to get home and see baby guineas for the first time!!!!

Well, my first chick in Group #2 is trying to hatch out now. More blue baby Australorp chicks are on the way!

I just went in the other room a bit ago to check on them. Now there are 4 out of the 9 in group #2 that are partially out of the shells.

I was just checking on the eggs, I hadn't raised humidity yet, and I thought, maybe, I heard a cheep. There is a lot of cheeping coming from the brooder so it was hard to tell. I candled a couple eggs and there was a shadow of a beak!
