I'm not gonna ask for hints.

I just have a request. Whoever has me, please let me know when they go out to the mail. I just need to know when to expect them is all. I love surprises. Good ones. I'd hate to see them sitting on my porch drenched or in the sun all day if I had been out. My porch has no shade. I'm saving room in my bators so no problem there. I hope everybody gets some really cool chicks. I have one from last months swap that had frizzle on the egg. It's yellow so probably will be white.

There are 2 more in the bator but may not have made it. My bator have been going nuts and i've lost several chicks to curled toes and spraddle legs. Quail are hard to fix and i've had no luck. I just cull them now to save them the misery of rolling around. I've had quail hatching for a few weeks. My hatcher got a few hour break so I could dump out the dust and give it a quick spray out. Then back in service it went. It will get a breif break again as soon as these are done. My next lock down is the 15th, 16th, 17th. Then another breif break and then again on 21st, 23rd, 25th, and 28th. I'm taking a break from quail for a little while. I"m gonna try to pickle some. I got a few recipies off BYC i'm gonna try. I have to get some of these little buggars processed so I have room for more.

I don't know . . . . if those eggs came from me . . if I had Sizzle on the egg it might be white! My FRIZZLE roosters are partridge colored and I have had them covering a black cochin hen and buff cochin hen so if might turn out buff!
