I want to try to get my white EE to lay. She lays blue eggs all the time till she stopped. I did hatch a pullet from one once but the roo wasn't neither an EE or an Aneracauna. I was told he was but I think he was just too huge for that. They all liked him though. He was very nice to the girls and protected them and was easy on them during mating. I hope nothing is wrong with her but she acts fine except she will nap standing up sometimes. Which the others do it too sometimes but she does it more often. She doen'st appear to be in pain and gets around just like everything is fine and eats like a goat. Jumps up on stuff and jumps down too. I had an EE that was having trouble passing an egg and I made her stand in warm water for about 30 minutes. She also had poo stuck to her bum like chicks get pastey butt. I cleaned all that off and after her 30 minutes. I tried her off with a towel and put her back out in the coop. She perked up and is fine now. Maybe I should do that to the white one tomorrow. Maybe she will lay some of those pretty blue eggs. Her daddy came from a blue egg and he was an Ameracauna too. Maybe thats why she's white Her pullet was white too.
