October is almost here...

There are so many kinds of cancers. I guess it kind of annoys me everyone focuses on just one kind. Most of the people I encountered when I was going through treatment didn't have breast cancer. We all had different kinds. :idunnoAny cancer is sad, and horrible. Treatment for all should be supported.

I certainly wasn't trying to be annoying. My family and I have had horrible experiences with cancers of all kinds and I agree wholeheartedly that they should all be supported, however, October is the recognition month for breast cancer so I'm only showing support.

Yes, I see several major companies are having a push where they will match donations up to $ 50,000 etc.

My mom died of breast cancer - she had it once and refused to have chemo/ radiation. She took Tamoxifen instead. She had a relapse 11 years later(still on that med). THEN they discovered people on tamoxifen more than 5 years had increased chances for a repeat. :hit
