I would love to participate in this swap, but right now my girls are molting and the youngsters aren't laying yet.

Have you ever thought about doing the swap as an elephant type swap? We do that on the Paperbackbook Swap and it works really well.

People sign up and then the names are randomized into a playing order. The first person asks someone to "reveal" what they have for the swap. Then the next person can either steal from #1 or ask someone else to "reveal". It goes like that down the line. Most of the times there is a limit to "steals" so that after 3 steals the third person stealing gets to keep the book.

It would probably be more time consuming for you though since you'd have to keep track of who's turn it is etc.
