Ocular Marek's?

Well I feel like a big 'ol idiot. I found a project breeder with good fibro in their birds and lucky me they had 2 pullets available for immediate pick-up today! I neglected to look over the birds thoroughly due to circumstances (busy parking lot and poor air quality), and brought them home to the temporary quarantine section of the yard which is a crate and an extra perimeter of fence to ensure "see but not touch" integration of a few week's time.

I digress.

Anyway, after a few hours of letting the birds chill out and get used to the sights/smells/sounds of my yard I go to handle them. I notice one of the pullets has really wonky pupils and remember that being a symptom of mares's. Not all my birds are vaccinated, and I can't get a response from the breeder about her bird's health so it'll super suck if it is since the quarantine zone isn't totally isolated from the yard and a good breeze blows aaaaalll that dander to everyone else. So please have a look at her weird eyes and let me know if I've invited doom upon my doorstep.

I'm following up just in case peeps search for this and want a bit of good news...

IT'S NOT MAREK'S!

I got a hold of the breeder and she assured me that a few of her own birds have similar eyes due to the breeds (ayam cemani) used. It's very very dark heterochromia which we were able to personally confirm with a pen light in the poor bird's eyes. Happy ending for me, and I hope for others if they ever see this post pop up in their search.
