Odd behavior when held....

Some of our chicks put their head down to their chest and shake their head (almost like preening, but aggrivated) when held....

any one else have this?
Is it "normal??"

It's the instinct in them thinking you are a predator, sudden hand movement near them to pick them up is very normal behavior with chicks til they feel more comfortable having you around them and not something that could harm them....

My girls always come running to the door when I enter ( food lady )........but they don't want to be touched. And I raised 6 of them in the house for quite awhile. If I catch and hold one it is tolerated...that's about all though.
