Has anyone had this happen?
This dove is super friendly and the flock has accepted her.
I looked it up and it is a Barbary Dove.
Sh almos let me touch her, not our norma Mourning Dove.

Definitely an escaped pet bird. Are the chickens allowing it to eat and drink ? I'd be concerned that it might be vulnerable to hawk predation.

With a dove, no.

With a quail, yes He decided he didn't want to stick around and squeezed out the chain link my run is made out of. Hung around a few days and went on his way. We have quail in the cut over in front of my house so I figured hes out there with a g/f.

The dove around here are wild and don't go anywhere near the chickens.

I would make sure theres a net covering in case of a hawk
