Has anyone had this happen?
This dove is super friendly and the flock has accepted her.
I looked it up and it is a Barbary Dove.
Sh almos let me touch her, not our norma Mourning Dove.

With a dove, no.

With a quail, yes He decided he didn't want to stick around and squeezed out the chain link my run is made out of. Hung around a few days and went on his way. We have quail in the cut over in front of my house so I figured hes out there with a g/f.

The dove around here are wild and don't go anywhere near the chickens.

Pretty little dove.

You might ask the members over on the dove forum what, if any, experience they have had with doves mixing with their chickens. Pigeons and Doves
