At one time I had 6 roos and no hens

and they never not once did they ever fight.

I don't worry about them both being roos and fighting. I worry more that one has the potential to be like 8-9 lbs and one will be lucky to hit 1 pound. I still maintain they are both girls...

I raised chicken and peking ducks together. The chickens still hang out with the ducks, even goin the pond up to their necks, odd seeing a chicken in the pond.
 
Mine bond and stay that way, both hens and roos. Big Nugget and little Woo are an example of big roo protecting little hen, but I also have Tux a big roo who protects little Turk who is a tiny roo.
 
I just bought 3 Marans Roos, and with them I bought a little Black East Indies duck(bantam). He hatched with them, and now he thinks hes a Rooster. He hangs with them, and chases the other chickens around. He is on top with my flock. lol
