:/Hi all. I have a question I wondered if anyone could answer.

I have a hen that occasionally will stand in one spot and go round and round and round in circles. Can you tell me what may be causing this and what I can do about it. :/

I haven't noticed her tipping her head before she starts going in circles. Checked ears and nostrils and they looked clean. She does seem to be going to the left the most.

Has this been going on for a while?

I have a Cochin that turns circles all the time ever since she was little. Until she was running from one of my cockerels I wasn't even sure she could run a straight line. And she used to get left behind from being distracted. We just consider her to be "dee ta dee". She is good at catching mosquito and lays pretty little speckled eggs.

I have one who seems unaware of the other three, then suddenly looks for them and takes out after. It’s funny in a way, but worried that she is outcast or retarded or something else. Chicks are only 6 weeks old and pretty big already. They are Golden Sex Link. She doesn’t go in circles though.
