odd egg coloring question?

I have some new hens that have recently started laying. A couple times now I have found an egg that is a chalky white color. Otherwise normal egg. This morning one had a little poo on it so I rinsed it off and it was a deep brown color. as soon as it dried it turned back to the chalky white color. Any idea why this may be happening? I think it is one of my SLW that may be laying this eggg but Im not sure.

It's Bloom, the layer of protective coating VS bacteria the hen lays on the still soft egg on the way out.

That is what I thought but it has never been so visible on any of my other eggs and it certainly has never changed the color of the egg???

I've had the same thing happen a couple times. I've rinsed the eggs, dried them and put them in the fridge. After a while, that chalky look goes away. Maybe the "bloom" sprayer in factory was set a little to high. LOL!
