How old are your birds?
What do you feed them and have you had any respiratory type illness in your flock?

Just started giving them a supplement feed ( Flock Party Chix Mix ) that is high in calcium and protein so yes also feeding layer crumbles, witch is what previous owner was feeding.

That stuff has a lower level(2.5-3.5%) of calcium than most layer feeds.
Protein is only 9%.
I'd not feed it.
What are the protein and calcium percentages of your layer feed?
Any other foods or treats being given?

How old is this bird, in months and how long have you had her?
Does she always lay an egg like that, or might this be a one off glitch?

I'd break that egg open and look at the thickness of the shell.

I had a bird that lidy a few of these, very wonky shell gland.
