Odd Feathers

This 8 week old pullet is of mixed breeding, I have never had one show what is pictured here. She has this only on the side showing.

Are you talking about the barred bird with the black feather? It is a common fault for barred colored birds.

Yep, that's the one, I have never seen it before so wasn't sure. I don't think it is a pure bred bird, she is from a set of ebay hatching eggs and even with the really light color it does appear to be a pullet.
