Odd leg problem in chick

Has anyone seen this before? If so, were you able to correct it?

It's odd, it's looks a lot like someone with double jointed elbows. Someone else in the peafowl forum had one like this that they were unable to fix. :(
 
I haven’t had any leg deformities or problems in chicks, but the leg does appear to be hyperextended and twisted outward. Let us know how this type of splinting works. Dr. Pol has splinted that way in grown chickens with hurt legs.
Thanks for replying. This is how I splinted an open fracture once and it worked really well. This little guy is hopping around on one leg eating and drinking, so that's good. I was worried that he wouldn't eat and drink.
