odd looking birds

We got these two birds maybe a week after we got the one eyed ones from TSC. They are fully feathered but the feathers are more down like than real feathers. They are so small and look like a wild bird more than a chicken.

Any ideas?

Thank you never heard of them before. It is so odd that the wings hang so low! These have been SO small it is hard to imagine they will get much bigger they seem to have stopped growing. Does anyone know how big I should exect them to get? How many pounds?

Well I looked them up..they do not do well in the cold. and like they say the wings look shabby most of the time. I will have to see what sexes we have. I do not think they are going to live outside well here... hawk cookies... we will have to make other plans. Thanks

I raised Black Tailed White Japanese as a kid and they did fine. I live in Maryland and we certainly had night int he teens and sometimes even lower than that. They had a coop to live in and did great.

What kind of coop? I think I will have to keep them in the enclosed area somehow.
