Odd pets, what do you have?

I dont think any of these are odd but..

I have..

2 cats
3 dogs
100 chickens
5 ducks
30 quail
a betta fish
and two rabbits

My odd pet is a Degu (Day-goo)

He's a type of animal related to the rat, the chinchilla, and the guinea pig...he's cute...

Really cool pets everyone! I wish I had a pet raccoon!


I don't really have any odd or exotic pets at the time being...but my dog is part North American Dingo (if that counts).

As for oddly behaved... my horse thinks she's a dog-cat-person in one. She's also very expressive which makes her seem more odd because you can tell exactly what she's thinking (well, at least I can...)

The weirdest pet I have had was a bahaman anole. I also had green anoles and a little frog the size of a pea. Now I have chickens, a kitten, 15 tropical fish, and (drumroll please)!!!! 2 goldfish about 6 inches long. They are 4 yrs. old and are from a local FAIR!! weird little, I mean big fish.

My mom used to have a alligator when she was growing up. It died when her dad was spray-painting a car and the fumes got to it. She also had a parrot named polly who talked a lot.

I wouldn't necessarily think any of mine are odd, though. My idea of odd runs along the lines of the opossum . . . but then, there are people who think my chickens are odd, so there ya go.

He once got loose in our basement and it took me 3 days to catch him.
