Odd pigeon... seems sick

So my 3 month old pigeon that I got with its sister last month has been acting odd lately. It won't eat much and today it won't eat anything or drink and its wings seem a bit droopy and messing its self up. It still flies great only when it needs to. And it also doesn't move much or stays in one spot most of the day. This happens since 5 days ago. Help me please

Sorry to hear your bird is not well. I'm not sure what is wrong ... have you looked inside the mouth to see if there are signs of canker? (do you have mosquitos there?) What do the droppings look like?

Mosquitoes I don't see them , and yes I always check there mouths every 2 weeks as I did today and no canker

This behavior and appearance is indicative of some sickness. I would isolate the bird from your other birds.

First do what Biophiliac said and check for canker in the mouth, look for an orange colored stuff in its throat / back of mouth. Start supplementing its water with organic apple cider vinegar, it can help treat canker or prevent it, and it's good for the bird either way.

If you can't get the bird to an avian vet, you might want to simply administer a broad spectrum anti-biotic for birds, and maybe also a de-wormer, and see if that helps.

Do you live in the West Bank? If you are an Israeli citizen and can travel freely within the country, there are some pretty big pet stores in Tel Aviv that I would imagine sell the broad spectrum avian anti-biotics that you might need.

Oh, then I'm not sure if there are pet supply stores that would sell these kinds of anti-biotics. What do people in the West Bank do for livestock that get sick? Maybe an anti-biotic sold for chickens could help. The generic name for one broad spectrum anti biotic is called "Ronidazole," and the % that is in the "pigeon-specific" Ronidazole that I have is 10%. Hope this helps.

I would add organic apple cider vinegar to their water if you can get that. Another thing you might want to check out is this guy Dacian Busecan makes a lot of YouTube videos showing a lot of holistic ways to treat sick pigeons. It might be one way to possibly help this bird if you cannot find conventional medications. I know that garlic and apple cider vinegar both boost pigeons immune systems and could help, and there are other holistic approaches as well.

There is also one guy on here that has a lot of pigeons that I think is from the Philippines, and he has said he has very limited access to pigeon supplies, so maybe he has some ideas that could help you.

Many pigeons carry salmonella without showing symptoms. Young birds are particularly susceptible to this disease also called paratyphoid. Stress maybe a factor.

If it is salmonella/paratyphoid, I would treat your entire loft/flock with antibiotics. If you cannot get a hold of that drug I mentioned above, ronidazole, look into finding Baytril (enrofloxacin), it is likely easier to find as I believe it is used in many different types of domesticated animals, you would just need to make sure you are administering the proper dosage.

If you do find anti-biotics for your birds, using these meds on them will go easier if you give them pro-biotics of some sort before and after giving the anti-biotics. If you can't find probiotics made for birds, if you can find a way to get them to ingest some yogurt (which contains the probiotic acidophilus) that would work as well to give their stomachs the proper fauna to ensure good gut health after the anti-biotics kill all the bacteria (both good and bad). You may not be able to find probiotics for birds where you live, but I know you guys have plenty of yogurt there, my guess is your mom or grandmother makes it really good

I have a holistic pigeon care book at home. When I get home I will look to see if they recommend a holistic approach to treating salmonella and let you know.
