I apologize in advance if I’m freaking out over nothing but I’m a nervous nellie...

Two of my younger hens have stopped laying for the past few days so I’ve been keeping a close eye on them. I noticed an odd colored poop, it looks almost pink. They did get watermelon earlier but I’ve never noticed poop like this. It’s making me think that the hens who’ve stopped laying might be having some internal problems... My roommate had corid and dewormers for her chickens, should I give some just in case?

That looks like cecal poop. If I'm remembering correctly, you will see these about once a week or so. Do they smell bad? Cecal poop smells pretty bad too.

I'm not an expert, so keep an eye on her and see if she's doing this a lot.

No smell, and their normal cecal poop isn’t pink. That’s the part that’s throwing me off... I’m moving the two into their own pen.

You mentioned that you'd given them watermelon. That might be it too. Are they eating and drinking normally? Do either of them seem at all lethargic? I wouldn't panic yet if they're behaving normally. If their poop looks normal tomorrow, try feeding some more watermelon and see if it looks like this again.

It’s been hotter than usual so everyone is less active than normal, but everyone is still eating and drinking. I’ll definitely try with the watermelon again if tomorrow goes back to normal

One more pink poop in the morning (compared to multiple yesterday) and then back to normal color. Tomorrow they’ll get watermelon again to see if it turns pink again

Another color change, still far from their normal. The texture is weird, too...
