My hens got way less drippy poo on their butt when I put unfiltered apple cider vinegar (ACV) in their water. Just be sure the ACV water is in a non-metal waterer. About 2 Tablespoons per gallon of water, I think (I don't measure any more). Raw ACV really helps with runny poop and balances their digestive tract.
