Well, I did a Roo today I got off CL, but I noticed something odd.
There was a large buildup of pure clear gel/slime coming from the meat. It came off easy and it was invisible and you wouldn't know it's there until you touch the meat and feel it.
If anyone has ever kept freshwater aquariums, you will know that fish also get this coating. But only when they are alive and stressed does it become excessive. It's called the 'slime coat'.
What could this be?
