Hi there ! I have a buff female
Silkie that is 5 months old . Lately , she hasn’t been as active while free ranging with the other ladies and prefers to curl up in a ball . She hasn’t laid any eggs here and seems to do a small “bawgawk” frequently and randomly. I’ve been monitoring her stools which have been normal , except for 1 ( picture below ) . She also likes to curl her head up in a ball. Any comments would be helpful . Thank you !!

How hot is it where you are?
That poop doesn't look bad...if they are drinking a lot they can get loose.

This is what I do when a bird is 'off'.
I isolate bird in a wire cage within the coop for a day or two....so you can closely monitor their intake of food and water, crop function(checking at night and in morning before providing more feed), and their poops. Feel their abdomen, from below vent to between legs, for squishy or hard swelling.

Best to put crate right in coop or run so bird is still 'with' the flock.
I like to use a fold-able wire dog crate (24"L x 18"W x 21"H) with smaller mesh(1x2) on bottom of crate under tray.
Then you can put tray underneath crate to better observe droppings without it being stepped in. If smaller mesh is carefully installed, tray can still be used inside crate.

It’s currently low 70s in my area . I also will mention that my silkie tries to eat her food out of the feeder but misses enough for me to notice . I trimmed her hair around her eyes but there’s no difference in behavior .
