Odd sound from 3 day chicks. Rooster?

I've been hearing this odd sound from my 13 chicks every once in a while. It sounds a lot like a smoke detector going off repeatedly or a chirping bird. Could this have anything to do with being a roo? It's a little early to know any genders for sure, but it's my first hatch and I'm excited to see what they are. They are mixes so I'm gonna use any hint I can get to find out.

They are cuckoo maran/australorp chicks.

Some are more vocal than others, but I haven't noticed that to be an indicator of gender at that age.

Really not sure about 3 days, but if any of your chicks start to make a really quick, cute "chookchook chookchook, chook chook chook" while eating - They're roosters. This behavior usually pops up after a few weeks though, and is very easy to recognize compared to normal cheeping.
