Parent to child to grandchild is usually fine for several or more generations.....but siblings can go bad faster.Agree with the others. Something weird going on with the head.
I wonder if it's too much inbreeding. Had Guinea pigs as a kid and we never seemed to be able to get the babies out before they bred with their mum. In the end they had leg problems and big heads. I know you can inbreed birds to a point but maybe this is what happens beyond that point?
