Hi all,

We got 8 chicks from tractor supply about 10 weeks ago. We know we got 3 barred rocks. We also got 5 from another “pullet layer pen” that we thought were buff Orpington, but I’m not so sure now.

Out of those 5, 1 is still more fluff than feathers. I’m wondering if she (fingers crossed) is a she, and what breed she might be.

Not a pro by any means, but that's not a Cochin there, definitely not a Frizzle. Sometimes the Roos can feather slower than the Hens, but not always.

The front and back birds in this picture are my six week old Buff Orpingtons one cockerel one hen. For your reference hope this helps
