Oddly colored Bantam Cochins?

I have 2 red bantam cochins chicks but one of them has dark skin and the other light. I will take pics tomorrow. Is that common in cochins?

Robert, any chance the cochins are mixed

Not sure. Ordered hatching eggs as red cochins but she stated there might be a chance of a frizzle. But their feathers look normal. The beak is dark and so is some of its skin.

That would be interesting. Here are the pics I took today. First is my regular looking one.

Then here's the one with a dark beak and you can see its darker skin.

Forgot to mention they just turned 1 month on July 28th.

A lot of red cochins from hatcheries have the dark beak like that. I haven't had one so didn't get to see their skin color though.
