Oddly shaped egg

I now (as of a week and a half) have 3 layers out of 24 pullets. A new girl laid her first today and it was a little more squarish than ovalish and had a bit of a nipple at the top......first egg syndrome or something? All of the rest have been normal, small albeit, but normal.

Raise enough hens and you will see lots of odd things with eggs. odd shapes, odd colors, double yolks, no yolks etc.

I wouldn't worry over it especially not with a new layer.

We had cattle, goats, chickens and sheep growing up and I took advantage of it; now you'd think I'd grown the eggs myself
