Wondering if these are OEGB chicks. They are as small as a large mouse, and all chipmunk colored... though the brown is slightly lighter either gold or silver tones on some. Duckwing? Spangled? Ideas? Thanks!

These are from TSC. Do you know what color they are? Or is it too soon to tell? I've looked up all the chick colors compared to their adult counterparts and a few come in this coloring... Hmm. Some have a silver tone and some have a golden tone on their heads.

They look like Black Breasted Red OEGB's to me.

silver and gold duckwing are both pretty common colors in OEGs but there are sooooo many colors in this breed that it's really hard to tell at this point.

There are so many now in the APA Standard, like 30..

BBR is one of the most common I've seen

I have a bunch of hatchery OEGBs in the brooder right now - silver duckwing, gold duckwing, white, blue fawn, and mottled are the varieties I've identified so far. I need to go research the others but the hatcheries are really starting to get into the more unusual colors.

I've seen them even make up some funky attractive names..
