Spangled oegb

I heard that you can tell the gender of spangled oegb when there chicks by there color one is a lighter brown the other is darker almost black color I can remember wich is wich though the light being the pullets I believe and the darker being the cockerels any help will be appreciated.

I'm not familiar with spangled OEGB sexing, but I will defiantly be following this thread to learn for myself.

Sorry I'm not much help..
 
I have never heard of these being autosexing, which is what you're describing. I know that with speckled Sussex, which have very similar coloring, the males tend to have more white when they first feather out than females.
