I think I would do as DT suggested and let her mature some more. If she just started laying she probably will continue to develop and fill out over the next several months--hopefully in all the right directions, lol.

Or you could purchase her a diaper and bring her inside--teach her to fly to your finger to perch and do other tricks.

My terrier would try to eat her, but that's what doors are for lol. I will look into diapers, but she's been doing okay so far. She can see my cochins across the pen (30 feet apart)
