my dad has been using his spare time and reclaimed deck wood to make birdhouses to paint and eventually sell. I love to paint and have done 3 already. I did the first one to look like a house with shrubbery and trees and such...nothing spectacular but it went over well. the second one I did these beautiful roses on them, you could almost walk up and smell them they looked so real! and I was excited about it, because it came out way better than I expected. The third one I did daisies on, kind of one that could be duplicated rather quickly if they have requests for it. and this last one that I did, I just HAD to put a few chickens on it and make it look like a coop (kind of) so here goes.
the front I put the rooster, I wanted him to look a little like my rooster Sam, in my avatar
then the right side, I had to put a hen. I kind of wanted it to look like a Barred rock, but not exactly. but she turned out quite nicely
then the left side, I needed a coop door. and chicks were a must!!
I had so much open space, so I decided to add the sign and two windows with beautiful flowers flowing out of window planters
I think my dad will love this one. and I think I will have to do another one to keep here because I love it so much too.
