Of Feathers And Flames- A Wings of Fire AU RP

"Well, yes, I don't think you understand, there are other human cities out there- it's not just the SD, and though it's created to trap people in the loop hole, I can get out. Heck, I'm Tobias, I could do anything around here and it'd fly- except... take Sol out of SD. And Roe.. I don't know much about her past- but it's been rough. She's in debt- no way could she get out of here. We're all just slaves to this- and now we're too far in to have any sort of perspective."
He cleared his throat and met Eclipse's gaze, "Escape isn't impossible. It's stupid close- but not impossible. Those dragons you were with- do you think they'd help if we had a plan? I don't know who else I'd trust around here. No human, that's for sure."
Eclipse tilted her head thinking for a long moment before she answered. "Helios would definitely want to get others out of here. Especially other Solawings. Sunspot eesh- she's not a ray of sunshine that's for sure, but she did mention something about wanting to torch this place pretty badly. Neoma has a big heart, even though she's not an experienced fighter, she's got a strong will, and she would almost defiantly want to help. That human that we met in the desert--if she's still alive--she seemed like she really wanted to protect us."
She looked back at Tobias. "But there is still one problem," she spread her torn left wing and pointed to the wing bone near her right shoulder. "I still can't fly, and I won't be able to for a long time. The others might all be dead or sold by then."

(Yes yes I know sorry. I woke up sometime in the middle of my REM sleep to a newly hatched chick screaming at me and thought "I can just ignore it and fall back asleep"
*3 hours later*
Finally decided to get up and hand scrub the old tote to put the chick in so it'd stop yelling, and as soon as I got it ready another one hatched and started screaming and then I was like "I'll just kinda fall asleep and come back when it's dry"
*2 hours later*
It's dry, but there are also 2 more hatched and a third hatching
Yeah it's 7 AM I am going back to sleep
So ta da, I am dead rn but I am here.)

Bloodmoon perked up as he heard footfalls on the cold floor. Not dragon, human. The person drew near, finally Bloodmoon could see him. His "owner". More like his torturer. "jdfvjfhjawuyfawkjailanhkjaehejkabhefkjayefbajkchbje!!!!!!" Yikes, I'm glad I'm smarter than a human. I don't think they know their talking jibberish. The human untied the chain attached to his collar, grabbed it, and started leading Bloodmoon down the corridor. He looked into the cells as he passed by. He glanced to his left as he passed then did a double take. A Lunar wing!?!? He thought to himself. He gasped as their eye contact met. It was the dragon. He had read this dragon's mind, the pain she had endured. " Hello" he muttered. @Nicole Taber

"There's gonna be a lot of dragons who either can't, or don't know how to to fly." Tobias started. "So many that will be injured." He thought for a moment, rubbing his chin, "The only reason humans are on top here, is because of drugs and weapons. The drugs are the biggest part of it- if there was something that could counter the.." he clicked his tounge, "well, the, uh, bodies reaction to sedatives... I wonder if we could pull this off then." He looked to Eclipse, "You got ideas? We'll get your friends out. I'll try to buy them. If we can be a group, this should work much better."

Eclipse glanced sideways as she heard heavy footsteps treading outside the door to Tobias' lot, along with loud angry human chattering. She saw a Nightwing pass the small window in the large iron door and the ridge on her spine rose. For a moment, it looked like the dragon would keep going, but then he stopped briefly and looked back through the window at her. She locked eyes with him and stiffened.
Something felt wrong about the way he looked at her. Like he was seeing right through her. He was a terrifying sight. Eclipse had never seen red-shaded Nightwing before, and his face was covered in scars, his expression dark. But something shifted when he saw her. His eyes pierced into hers like spears and there was something in them like understanding, like he knew something about her. But she was certain she had never seen this dragon in her life. He looked like he'd be pretty hard to forget. She saw him let out a small rumbling greeting, but of course, she couldn't hear him through the inches-thick glass. She snapped back to attention as Tobias started talking to her again, half expecting the Nightwing to disappear if she looked back as if he'd never been there in the first place.

Eclipse sat down, rubbing a talon over her snout and shoving the Nightwing to the back of her mind. "Do dragons ever get transported out of the city? Also, how deep into the den are we?" she paused a second. "How are you going to buy a second Lunarwing? From what I understand, they aren't exactly easy to... acquire."

Bloodmoon cringed as the Lunarwing looked away. Why had he even bothered to look at her? He knew what her reaction would be. Fear. He pushed the bitter memories that were surfacing to the deepest part of his mind as he heard the roar of excited humans. Horrible humans that only cared for money and power. An image of the Lunarwing popped into his mind. She had been with a human.

Crest looked over at the king. He sunk to the ground slowly. Crest couldn't help but feel bad for him. Whatever the story was, he knew that the one named Sol was here and he didn't even acknowledge his father. I can't imagine how that feels. He tried imagining if he saw Minami and she didn't recognize or even acknowledge him. His heart was pained and he looked back at the king. He lowered he head in his direction, "Your Majesty, we'll get out of here...don't worry," he tried to say reassuringly. He wasn't good at it, but the despair in the king's face brought Crest to try and help.
"So how did you all come to the Scorpion Den anyway?" Crest asked looking at all of them.
Helios looked up, meeting the dragons eyes. This dragon was incredible, though he was on the brink of insanity from lack of water and locked away in a human city to be tortured or killed or abused, he still tried to give hope to those around him.

“I came for my son..” he replied with a sad tone, “but we were captured before we could infiltrate the Den, this is all my fault.” He stated, his voice full of guilt as he glanced toward Sunspot and Neoma.

( what if some dragons in the higher up, more modern and wealthy and luxurious parts of the Scorpion Den were really free. Humans Still kept on eye on them but they were free to own apartments or shops or things. Maybe a scientist /alchemist/ rebel dragon or human has been having the same ideas as Tobias, making a drug that can deactivate the other drugs in a dragons system? Maybe there’s a underground movement unbeknownst to most trying to find a way to free most if not all the dragons and set things right? Kinda like the chrysalis? Just ideas lol)
