Of Feathers And Flames- A Wings of Fire AU RP

Tobias moved to Eclipse' side. "I'm sorry. You're handling this so well." He said in dragon, taking a weary glance at Sol, who seemed to be sleeping. "I invited Roe. Not him. Or him. Or him." He pointed to Nicholas, the leaf hybrid, and the NightWing. "They'll be out soon enough. But-... They're talking about a rebellion." He turned to Roe and Nicholas, "Look, we all speak dragon, so cut the English out and the others can listen in."
"I take that as an offense. I'm not annoying!" Nic said, than turned to Tobias, much more seriously. "As I said, we need your help figuring out how to get these many dragons out of here." His head pounded, an oncoming migrane. "Do you have any water?"
Eclipse perked at the idea of rebellion, her heart skipping a beat. We might actually get out of here. I could... I could actually see him again. She glanced over at Kapok, Shrike, and Dred, waving them over with a wing. She turned back towards Tobias' friend. "Are you a part of this "rebellion" as well?"

Kapok glanced at Shrike before standing up and pacing over to the group, his tail twitching with interest.

Corvus was brooding. At least, that's what Phoenix would call it. He had really hoped Phoenix would have followed him when he stormed away dramatically, but she didn't. She stayed with King.

Corvus narrowed his eyes against the wind as he flew. He wasn't jealous. Just- he wished Phoenix hadn't pushed him to the side the minute she saw an interesting new dragon. He looped wide over the forest. He had flown a good bit away from Grebe's Nest. He didn't want a village dragon spotting him and attempting to make small talk.

The black CloudWing was thinking hard. How can I make her pay more attention to me? Tell her that King is dangerous?

He remembered something. The blue CloudWing had seemed to be keeping secrets. Corvus didn't like that. What if this was all a ploy and King was trying to hurt them? A rebellion.... Corvus only knew of one, and it wasn't good.

His mother had been a part of the most notable rebellion. Except it wasn't against humans. It was against fellow CloudWings- more specifically, Queen Cirrus. This rebellion was led by Corvus' grandfather.

A shudder rippled across Corvus' wings at the thought of the tall, thin, scarred dragon. Horribly manipulative, with skewed motives and no sense of right or wrong. That dragon was truly dangerous, and would stop at nothing for his goal. What if King's group was the same way?

Corvus looped back around and began flying quickly back to the village. He spotted copper and blue feathers heading into a hut of some sort, and began quickly descending. He thumped down, the wooden boards creaking under his talons. "Phoenix!" he called.

"I am." Roe said.
For a moment Sol heard voices, voices he recognized.. again, he was trapped in an array of sounds of color, too lost in the slope of chaos to come back.
He retreated from the light, awake sounding much to hard at the moment, but his body continued to push, continued to fight the darkness.
Everything tingled strangely, and Sol shivered, opening his eyes and watching as the world shifted into focus.
If only this was easier.
But now that he could see things, the chaos erupted. There were SO many dragons and people. It made him want to cry- who knows why, it was actually quite annoying, and though Sol fought the emotion, hot tears streaked down his face as he closed his eyes, overwhelmed.

Sunspot tested her scales again, failing to conjure more than a faint warmth. She growled irritably. She desperately needed to stretch her sore wings. Anything would be better than sitting in this cage, waiting. She slowly struggled to her feet, dizzy but able to stand. She glanced across at Crest, asking a silent question. What do we need to do?

Crest watched confused as the king went silent and seemed to be moving his tongue around in his mouth. "Yes! I stole these..." he said. Crest was surprised to see the large solarwing king stick out his tongue, but he was even more surprised to see the keys sitting on his tongue. Wait, how are they not melted. Crest thought. Suddenly realization dawned on him. They must've drugged him. Hope began to swell in Crest as he thought what this meant. We could actually get out of this place. Then I can return home where humans live much better than this. He grinned at the king. "You know, this gives us a very large advantage against these people." He lowered his voice and leaned closer to the king's cage, "We could potentially escape." He thought for a second and rephrased his sentence, "No, we will escape." Determination in his aqua eyes, he looked into the king's eyes with reassurance. With hope reignited, he was ready to get out and find the human girl and get back to the ocean.
Thinking about the humans in the Scorpion Den, his curiosity was peaked about the rest of the humans in this world. Apparently the humans in his kingdom were very different from this group of humans. "So, Your Majesty, are all the humans on the rest of this continent like this?"

Sunspot shifted, watching the exchange curiously. Keys! She lifted her head, tail twitching hopefully.
Helios smiled, moving his jaw and settling the keys neatly beneath his tongue. “Yes we will, but I have to find my son first…and quite a few dragons that are here because of me.” He replied, hearing Sunspot shift and glancing toward her. “Like what, Seawing?”
Eclipse growled, fixing the human with a threatening glare, her eyes slitted. "I don't just tell anyone my name, especially not random humans. Sorry, not sorry." She looked away pointedly, the tip of her tail twitching. Eclipse glanced at Dred, who had sidled forward a little ways in anticipation to defend. The other two hadn't moved from their spot near the large white boxes. Some help you were.
There was a gentle tapping at the door and Eclipse glanced over at Tobias.
"Is that your friend?"

Dred smiled a big toothy smile, his large front fangs resembling tusks now that he was closer. “Rebellions have always been interesting to me. I just never got the chance to join one, sign me up.” He said with a laugh. “Hello Eclipse, The names Dred.”

Kapok glanced at Shrike before standing up and pacing over to the group, his tail twitching with interest.
“Rebellion?” Shrike asked for the two of them as they walked over, “what rebellion?

“You never got to join a rebellion?” Shrike gasped in mock shock, “nooo.. it’s not like you’ve been in a cage or anything all this time!”

Shrike snorted a laugh, glancing at Eclipse. “Shrike. If ya care to know. That’s Kapok,” he flicked his tail at the burly LeafWing.
