Of Feathers And Flames- A Wings of Fire AU RP

Helios smiled, moving his jaw and settling the keys neatly beneath his tongue. “Yes we will, but I have to find my son first…and quite a few dragons that are here because of me.” He replied, hearing Sunspot shift and glancing toward her. “Like what, Seawing?”

Dred smiled a big toothy smile, his large front fangs resembling tusks now that he was closer. “Rebellions have always been interesting to me. I just never got the chance to join one, sign me up.” He said with a laugh. “Hello Eclipse, The names Dred.”
“Rebellion?” Shrike asked for the two of them as they walked over, “what rebellion?

“You never got to join a rebellion?” Shrike gasped in mock shock, “nooo.. it’s not like you’ve been in a cage or anything all this time!”
Shrike snorted a laugh, glancing at Eclipse. “Shrike. If ya care to know. That’s Kapok,” he flicked his tail at the burly LeafWing.
Eclipse dipped her head politely to each of them. "Eclipse. It is encouraging to see others here who seem to still have an incentive to escape."

“Try rare,” Shrike jibed back. “Some dragons even like it here,” he said, glancing at Sol.
Eclipse felt annoyance flicker beneath her scales, accompanied by a note of admiration. He's defiant, she thought, looking the little dragon up and down. The perfect sort of dragon for an escape plan. She glanced between the three of them. Dred and Kapok were bigger than her, and Dred looked like the sort of dragon who might have killed someone before. Kapok didn't exactly seem tough, but he was burly, and he'd survived this long in the Den. Shrike was a tiny ball of fluff from any other perspective, but Eclipse noted his particularly sharp canines and his snappy attitude. She smirked. They seemed like the perfect strike team. But she felt like there was one thing missing...
"We are going to need his help," she said, following Shrike's gaze to where Sol was still lying unmoving in his cage. "Obviously, I can tell you don't like him, but it's not like you have to be friends with him. We are just working together to escape."

“Hm,” Shrike huffed noncommittally. “Should be easy enough without ‘im if you’re coming. All you gotta do is magically conjure up some metal spears an stab anyone who get in the way.”

Eclipse shot Shrike a wry smile. "If only it was that easy," she said, reaching up and tapping the metal band around her throat. "No one trusts me enough to take this off yet, and my warping is useless as long as I have it on."

Corvus was brooding. At least, that's what Phoenix would call it. He had really hoped Phoenix would have followed him when he stormed away dramatically, but she didn't. She stayed with King.

Corvus narrowed his eyes against the wind as he flew. He wasn't jealous. Just- he wished Phoenix hadn't pushed him to the side the minute she saw an interesting new dragon. He looped wide over the forest. He had flown a good bit away from Grebe's Nest. He didn't want a village dragon spotting him and attempting to make small talk.

The black CloudWing was thinking hard. How can I make her pay more attention to me? Tell her that King is dangerous?

He remembered something. The blue CloudWing had seemed to be keeping secrets. Corvus didn't like that. What if this was all a ploy and King was trying to hurt them? A rebellion.... Corvus only knew of one, and it wasn't good.

His mother had been a part of the most notable rebellion. Except it wasn't against humans. It was against fellow CloudWings- more specifically, Queen Cirrus. This rebellion was led by Corvus' grandfather.

A shudder rippled across Corvus' wings at the thought of the tall, thin, scarred dragon. Horribly manipulative, with skewed motives and no sense of right or wrong. That dragon was truly dangerous, and would stop at nothing for his goal. What if King's group was the same way?

Corvus looped back around and began flying quickly back to the village. He spotted copper and blue feathers heading into a hut of some sort, and began quickly descending. He thumped down, the wooden boards creaking under his talons. "Phoenix!" he called.
(You can rp him and phoenix, King left and went to bed but is currently walking toward the hatchery and it’s the middle of the night.)

“What is your….warping?” Dred piped up, “can you really make anything with it?” He questioned, deciding to ignore Shrikes jeers.

Nic's head felt like it was being split apart. " Please, do you have any water? I'll go get it if you tell me where it is." He felt bile rising up his throat but swallowed it. He had a pack of medicine in his pocket but it was useless if taken without water.

"Well... yes, I can," Eclipse said slowly, turning toward the Mudwing. "But it takes a lot of energy, and I can only use so much of it at once. So, nothing massive, but yes, things like weapons and tools and generally more handy things."
