Granny's gone and done it again

Actually, by both of them LOL they set him up a throne on the couch 🤣🤣🤣 and have been adding toppers to his food, my dad bought more dental sticks cause he ran out and has been giving him 3-4 small pieces a day (he breaks the sticks up so really it’s just 1 stick lol), playing ball with him every day, etc.

I've spent the past few days Christmas shopping. Pretty much done and have come to the conclusion that I seriously HATE Amazon. I hate Walmart too but not as much as I hate Amazon at the moment.

Then this past weekend was the first two days of deer hunting. We didn't go out.The weather has been super so DH and I went out three days in a row and rode our motorcycle instead. Had a blast.

Granny, I saw the Obit you wrote for Tom. Very beautifully done and a tribute to him and your life together. When my parents passed people told me that time would heal the hurt. No. It doesn't. I just makes it easier to bear the losses. Hope you are hanging in there. Remember. It's okay to cry. Tears cleanse the soul of pain.
I really like Amazon. Is yours a love/hate relationship? 😆

Up till today it was a love hate relationship. Now it's it's about 90% hate and 10% like goes to the number of items left in my subscribe and save list after I canceled out the 90% because I can't hate them 100% as long as I can get the 10% cheaper there than anywhere else.

Hope that makes sense....cause I think I just confused myself.:hmm:rolleyes:

Bought a new freezer today, to replace the chest one that has to be defrosted. Finally said nope, not doing that any more. Turns out today was the last day of a sale! :wee So I got a 3-yr warranty and it was still cheaper than the normal price! :highfive:
And not only that but my nephew-in-law said he'd come pick it up and deliver it for me, right NOW, saving me s $200 delivery fee (more on this later). So I called Lijah at home and said, Quick, take everything out of the freezer and lay it on quilts on the basement floor, we have a new freezer coming! So he did. And he and the nephew got the new one down the back stairs and the old one up and there you go! So I gave the nephew $50 for his trouble plus $20 for gas and he said, Oh no, that's too much and I said No it isn't, I appreciate you. So then he said, Tell you what. I'll go buy $30 worth of screws and come screw down the roof on the lean-to on your barn (shop) so it doesn't blow off in a high wind and we'll call it even. And I said, We'll be even if you let me give you a hug for that so he did. I'm so happy! That corrugated metal roof is nailed on and it nearly did peel off during the last big wind storm. Nick is good people. Retired military. A real gem. ❤️
