Eclipse jolted as the stubby human pointed at her, his question echoing around the lot, and every head turned toward her. Her spines rose and her eyes slit anxiously, glancing sharply around the crowd. "Yes I-" she cleared her throat and lifted her head. "I am willing to help and be a part of this mission wherever I can." She hoped she sounded confident enough. Across the lot, Eclipse could see Roe talking into one of the chat devices, then she pulled it away from her ear and tapped the flat end of it, holding it out a little way.
Bloodmoon, if you can hear me, they have got a hundred and five trucks ready for the mission tonight. He says it's only half of the original plan, but it should be enough to get a lot of dragons out. Tell Sol.
"Aye, awesome, ay?" Monzy clapped her hands together, still rubbing them anxiously. "Alright, alright, we're still waiting on a few-"
There was a sudden loud rap on the door, and Vel wrenched it open, a tall, well dressed man sauntered into the room, his brown eyes fixed on Monzy.
"Ah, hah!" Monzy laughed, "Glad to see you, mate. Ferrin, have you heard back from-"
"I have." Ferrin interrupted, taking his place beside a black, gold RainWing. "The shipment will be stopping in Corden for refuel, then moving on to Metaz-sheem."
"Corden!" Someone exclaimed. "Who's been relocated? The team was moved?"
Ferrin raised a brow with a bored look, shaking his head gently. "If you have not noticed, darling, we are two weeks ahead schedule, and plans have changed."
"Yes, but what of our second stop!"
"That is beyond my knowledge." Ferrin said slowly, a warning tone.
Monzy waves his hands, "Hol', up, we 'ave Rose and Gables still coming, then we move on. They should really be here by now."
Tobias noticed Qi'ra anxiously squirm, glancing back at the door.
