Of Feathers And Flames- A Wings of Fire AU RP

"What's you problem, man? Are you just always like this?" Sol locked eyes with Kapok, "Is he always this stupid? Or does he get worse? Gosh, I can't see it much worse than this.." Sol smirked.

“StUpid?” Shrike snarled, looking back at him, “ExcUSE ME for pointing out the obvious?”
Sol scoffed. "Tobias should have been back by now." He frowned, tempted to stand. "You know about the breakout tonight?" Shrike's feathery hackles were still raised as Sol watched him from his perefreial vision, his gaze locked on the door.
Kapok lifted his head to turn and look at Sol. In the brief moment he'd hesitated, Shrike had interrupted his response, turning back toward Sol with a loud snarl. Kapok scrambled off the freezers clumsily, bounding quickly forward and planting himself between the two dragons, frowning at Shrike.

Bloodmoon jumped up and watched the dragon called Kapok race in between Sol and Shrike. He joined Kapok in front of Shrike and looked at the Cloudwing with a calm, expressionless face. "Don't try to hurt Sol, Shrike. It's not a fair fight."

Kapok flinched slightly as the Nightwing appeared beside him. He looked the smaller dragon up and down slowly, noticing for the first time, the deep scars torn across his scales. He was an unusual red for a Nightwing, and from what Kapok had overheard, had a very short temper. But Kapok was slightly grateful for his help in trying to keep Shrike from doing something impulsive, though it had been Kapok's job for nearly 2 years, and he was pretty sure he could handle it. Still, just in case things got too ugly, a second set of talons might be helpful.

Shrike scoffed, hurt panging his heart as he watched the LeafWing walk in between them. He flashed his sharp teeth, “oh, so you’re joining them Kapok? All three of ya ganging up on me? That’s rich. And how am I supposed to hurt him?” Shrike’s voice rose and the feathers down the nape of his neck lifted, “considering that he’s the one who’s hurt, and yeah, KILLED thousands! And you’re all ganging up on ME cause I’m the only actually talking about it?”
Anger flared in Shrike’s eyes as he stared past the two huge dragons at Sol, who as usual, seemed to be disregarding everyone else.

Kapok took a step toward the agitated Cloudwing, carefully resting his wings on the smaller dragon's shoulders. He dipped his head down to Shrikes level and held his gaze, keeping his expression calm but firm. He hoped The Cloudwing wasn't too ruffled to understand.
