Of Feathers And Flames- A Wings of Fire AU RP

Shrike scoffed, hurt panging his heart as he watched the LeafWing walk in between them. He flashed his sharp teeth, “oh, so you’re joining them Kapok? All three of ya ganging up on me? That’s rich. And how am I supposed to hurt him?” Shrike’s voice rose and the feathers down the nape of his neck lifted, “considering that he’s the one who’s hurt, and yeah, KILLED thousands! And you’re all ganging up on ME cause I’m the only actually talking about it?”
Anger flared in Shrike’s eyes as he stared past the two huge dragons at Sol, who as usual, seemed to be disregarding everyone else.
Bloodmoon watched Shrike and felt a pang of sorrow. He didn't know what to say.

Also. What's the plan for da breakout? Are they going to have a big fight and the rebellion tries to take over the SD?

Tobias leaned against the doorway, frowning, his fingers twitching beside his gun.
"Rose-" he started, then looked away as the plants blocked his view.
He hesitated a moment more, his left hand still beside the handgun. "Truck's... outside." He half growled.
Eclipse shot Rose a thankful look and quickly gulped down the antidote. As soon as the liquid hit her tongue, it took everything she had not to gag and spit it out again. But she forced it down, her snout scrunching up at the fowl taste, even after she had already swallowed it. "Be right there," she called toward the plant-covered door, shoving the antidote bottle under the counter with the metal band before quickly bounding over to the other counter, quickly moving the vials into one of the boxes again. She could still taste the reminiscence of the strange liquid and she had to force her expression not to wrinkle up from it. "Three moons Tobias, we're almost done, calm down."
Eclipse could feel the buzzing sensation already beginning to fade and she flashed Rose another small smile before flicking her head at the door, signaling for her to let the human in.

No, they are going to wait until the team rally starts, and then while the majority of the den is distracted watching the fights, they are going to sneak around and break dragons out and take them out on the trucks. Once they are a ways outside the den, the dragons who were there for the team rally are going to have to fight and sneak their way out together.

Bloodmoon jumped up and watched the dragon called Kapok race in between Sol and Shrike. He joined Kapok in front of Shrike and looked at the Cloudwing with a calm, expressionless face. "Don't try to hurt Sol, Shrike. It's not a fair fight."

Kapok took a step toward the agitated Cloudwing, carefully resting his wings on the smaller dragon's shoulders. He dipped his head down to Shrikes level and held his gaze, keeping his expression calm but firm. He hoped The Cloudwing wasn't too ruffled to understand.
"I..." Sol started cooly, loosing his smirk, "I don't need your protection, NightWing." He ripped his gaze from the door. "What do you want from me, Shrike?" Sol sighed heavily. "I've played the cards I was given. I'm a- alive. I am friends with a human. I walk the streets of the Scorpion Den as if I was one of them." Sol shook his head, a bit flustered. "I tried to fight them, man. I... really fought them. Fought everything." He dropped his gaze. "But.." he blinked, lifting his head and staring at the far wall, his expression cold as he relieved slow, hideous scenes of a seeming past life.

When do the fights start? I'm getting SO BORED. We're having a wonderful time with these guys, but can we move a tiny bit faster? Please :)

Patience luv. We still gotta get the oasis group caught up on the current events, and these little stretches of convo give us time to do that. We are all excited for the breakout, but if we jump ahead too fast, it will take away from the quality of the story

Gosh, I thought they were caught up. How far off are we?
