Chester coughed, wiping blood off on her pants and slowly standing. "Nono." She panted, shouldering the gun and giving Nic a calm nod. She dove into the hall, firing the weapon wildly.
Ferrin stared down the flat of the small handgun, fighting the kick back as he hit two guards further down the hall. He heard the AK-47 echo, a dull buzzing in his ears once the noise stopped. He sighed quietly, sprinting down the hall, no live guards in sight.
Chester fell to her knees, then collapsed in the center of the hall, motionless. Ferrin rounded the corner, grimacing as he slipped on blood. He gave Nicolas a steady look as more doors hissed open and more feet pounded through The Maze.
"They're coming." He whispered. "Monzy- they made it out of the arena, on their way here. We just have to hold them off and we're done. Backups coming. You okay, Nicolas?"
