"Now what," Eclipse growled, her tail lashing. "Are we just gonna sit here and wait for backup or are we gonna try and head to the truckyard?"
She angled the shield like a mirror, tilting it so she could see down the corridor. The humans were slowly advancing, weapons drawn. One of them fired at the metal disc and Eclipse quickly jerked it sideways, sending the ricochet into the wall instead of letting it bounce back to her and Tobias. She hissed loudly, hiding a muttered swear beneath it.

"No." Tobias replied, leaning around the corner slightly. "We keep fighting. Get that shield up, Eclipse."
