Gables straightened, glancing down at Tobias, who seemed to be sleeping, then moved his gaze to Fracture. She nodded.
"No- wait, Rose," Gables protested, shaking his head, "we need to worry about you, too. I mean- you've lost so much-"
"She is a doctorr, idiot. I believe she would know."
Gables held Fracture's stare for a moment, then glanced back at Tobias. The ice had spread at an incredible rate, now creeping past his torn sleeve, threatening to start up his neck.
"We have one shot." Gables grunted, moving himself and Tobias against the bars so that they were right beside Rose. "It's spreading from his wrist. If you can.. if you can, well, cauterize it there I imagine it will slow." He glanced at Fracture, who nodded, kneeling beside them. She took Tobias' forearm in her hand, and he shuddered. Gables held him close.
"See, this is wherre he was hit." Fracture pointed to the near black, iced wrist. "And it is all sprreading from the centrral arrea." She dragged Ferrin's bag towards herself. "We have medical supplies."
Gables felt his insides give a sharp twist in anticipation. "Rose, are you sure?"
