Of Feathers And Flames- A Wings of Fire AU RP

Sol grinned. "He's cool, right? Yeah. Yeah, it's Tobe. They really threw you into the arena, huh? Who'd you fight? Was it a SandWing?" Sol flicked his tail over his Father's.
Tobe. Hm

Helios didn’t move, the small gesture of physical touch meaning more to him then anyone could know. Except Sol of course.
“No, not a Sandwing. Surprisingly this was done by a Seawing. The humans deprived him of water until he was mentally unstable and bloodthirsty. I knew him only from the time we spent caged together in the same lot, before he went mad.” He answered, a sad smile making the skin around his eyes wrinkle. No sign of tears remained as his firey blood coursed through his veins and rid the moisture from his skin. “He was a soldier, Crest. captured days before I was.”

"Of course, Rose." Ferrin gave a genuine, knowing look. "I'll do my best." He cleared his throat, brushing his suit off as Gables pulled Tobias off the ground, wrapping a muscled arm around the man's bare chest just above the bullet wound. Tobias gripped Gables shoulder with his left hand, trying to steady himself. He looked pale, the torn dress shirt only adding to the pitying effect.
"Sinclair." Gables muttered. "I guess that my name now."
Tobias coughed. "We could call you Clair." His head lolled back on Gables shoulder, a weak smile on his lips. "You look like a Clair."
The broken rasp of Tobias' voice was sickening, but it was good to hear him talk. It was so good to hear him talk. "Why, thank you." Gables whispered with a smirk, pulling Tobias against himself as he started towards the door.
Ferrin knocked on the door, the guard opening it from the outside. Gables half dragged Tobias through the doorway, and Ferrin could already see Tobias' struggle to stay conscious begin. They would lose him at the elevator for certain.
Rose's cell was opened, and Ferrin stepped into the room, checking her leg before the guards filed in. He glanced across the bars at Fracture, who nodded with maybe, perhaps, the tiniest smirk.
One of the guard kneeled beside Rose, pushing her to her feet.

The most awesome person ever. Hahey, I remember this time *yAy*.

Rose got up with a groan of pain, her leg throbbing agonizingly. She again clenched her teeth and swallowed the pain. she walked with the others, falling behind and wincing with every step.
Wow that hurts, worse then that time I ate a Tartarus fruit.
She took another step and blood gushed from a bullet wound, dripping along the floor in a thousand red dots as she walked.
Much worse. So much worse.

"Oh, yes," Sol grimaced. "They do that.. a lot. To SeaWings, and other dragons. You know, freeze a SandWing, dry an IceWing out for weeks.." he stopped, realizing how casual he must sound. "It's awful, of course." Sol added awkwardly. For a moment realization crept through his mind- he had become accustomed to so many horrific things... Had he sounded casual this entire time? He didn't want to. He wanted Helios to think he was still normal. Sort of.

"Stop." Ferrin ordered, and Gables pulled Tobias to the side, glancing back as Ferrin knelt beside Rose, tying something around her foreleg.
Tobias leaned heavily on Gables, letting Gables shift him however necessary, and trying not to instinctually pull away from pain. He felt sick.
Ferrin pulled back from Rose, encouraging her along as he stood. "Move, Rose. Don't stop, we're almost there."
