Of Feathers And Flames- A Wings of Fire AU RP

King smiled back at her, he hadn’t really stopped smiling. He always loved giving dragons a taste of real freedom, showing them around a place where they could really be at home, but this was different somehow. He angled his wings so he flew closer to her, just slightly. Then he heard a third pair of wings, approaching fast. He turned and saw Corvus. Flying straight at him.
Phoenix watched how close their wings hovered to each other, then noticed King wasn’t looking at her anymore. She followed Kings gaze, and spotted Corvus coming inbound. Fast. He looked upset. Phoenix slowed, wondering what she did wrong.

Oooooooo, drama...

Corvus flared his wings, arcing up and over the two dragons and diving again to hover in front of them.
“Phoenix!” He cried, his wings brushing against hers. “What are you doing out here??” He shot a suspicious look at King. “Is he troubling you?”

Eclipse flinched sideways as Sunspot's scales brushed against hers, half expecting them to be on fire again.
"Let's gooooo," the Solarwing said excitedly leaping into the warm desert air.
"Slow down you crazy wyrm," the snapped glaring up at the golden dragon. "You don't even know where we're going yet."
She paced out onto the sand waiting for the other Lunarwing to catch up, her tail twitching in annoyance as she watched Sunspot turn lazy circles in the air.
"Why don't you make yourself useful and catch something to eat," she called up to the Solarwing. "Preferably, something we can all share."
The other Lunarwing limped up next to her from the tunnel and stared around at the desert before them with wide eyes. Eclipse watched her out of the corner of her eye for a moment before turning her attention back to Sunspot.
"Never did catch your name," she said casually without turning toward the other Lunarwing.
"I'm Eclipse, by the way."
Sunspot flipped in the air and sped away across the dunes. She swiftly caught a pair of spindly antelopes and headed back, clutching the deer-like creatures in her powerful rear talons, shaped like a bird of prey's. She landed with a thump, the antelopes cracking beneath her weight. "Dinner is served," she said with a flourish, using a wing-blade to slice off a rear leg and swallowing it whole.

King flared his wings out to slow, now hovering in place. “Oh hey! We were just looking for you.” He said, but Corvus was already speaking to Phoenix, and accusing him of something. King looked at Corvus with a quizzical look. “Hey she was wondering where you were, I said I could help her look. It’s not her fault, besides nothing is wrong.” He said defensively.

"Neoma." Neoma responded, still looking around. She had been dragged unconscious through all this area, and was now seeing it in real light.
"Wow. This is kinda cool. Like a beach, but... not." There weren't deserts like these on Pantala, just mainly beaches where she lived.
Neoma jerked away slightly as Sunspot landed with the dead antelopes. "Uh-" she began, then stopped. She had been living mainly off of fish for ages now, and wasn't sure she liked the smell of these creatures that looked like they had been singed slightly by the fiery dragon now crunching into them.
"No thanks..." Neoma said slowly, dropping the warping from under her scales and forming her blade. As she mentally commanded, it sped away and out of sight, in the direction of the water. She sat down patiently, wrapping her tail around her talons and looking into the distance calmly. "Give it a second-" Nepma said to the other twos questioning looks.
The blade sped back into their line of vision, with about three fish wriggling impaled on the tip.
"Ahh, yes- seafood." Neoma grinned. She quickly ate one of them, glancing up at the others. "Fish anyone?"

Eclipse wrinkled her snout at the fish twitching on Neoma's warping. Water dripped off their silvery scales and their large beady eyes seemed to be staring at her as their mouths opened and closed in a weird gaping manner.
"No thanks," Eclipse said slowly, reaching for one of Sunspot's antelope, trying not to look at the weird slimy things hanging from Neom'a blade. Of course, she'd seen fish before. Their scales glimmered when they swam, and they flashed in a horribly enticing way. But when they were out of the water, dying, with not-quite-crimson blood running down their scales, they looked quite the opposite of appetizing.

Corvus glared suspiciously at King for a moment, speaking to Phoenix instead in a gentler tone. “I’m sorry, you just vanished on me.”
