Of Feathers And Flames- A Wings of Fire AU RP

Eclipse's wings were tight against her sides, a hidden tension pressed beneath the folds. Dark indigo eyes slit watchfully as Gen entered the hanger. The Lunarwing tracked him with an unflinching stare.
"Sol. Gen."
She gave a tight nod to the two dragons before flicking a wing at the young Skywing beside her.
"This is Ember. Apparently, she's a rookie from a small rebellion division in Oakendale. She'll be making the flight with us."
The sun had vanished by now, leaving a feverish half-glow in the evening sky. To the east, the few brightest stars would be appearing, if not for the hazy light of the city.

@Barnette (now is your chance)
Ember's tail twitched nervously as she watched the powerful, advanced (at least in her eyes) dragons prepare for their journey. Her heart and mind raced, and she felt short or breath. Ember felt so small and inexperienced next to them... which, she was. She'd only been in her "rebellion division" for a few months, and had been sent out unexpectedly because her brother had not been able to make it and she was filling in for him.

Ember shook out her scarlet-colored wings, and her scales glittered in the pale light. She grabbed her bag and gathered her confidence, before marching over to the group. "Yeah. Hi..." She had wanted to make a cool introductory speech, but her voice failed her and a mumbled, "nice to be here," was all she could force out.

Now, uh, what if you guys introduce your characters to Ember and give me a short description of them so I can imagine them better? I don't want to interrupt the flow of the plot tho so, no worries if not. And is Ember really the most inexperienced or was that all in her mind? Thanks so much, y'all

Sol stood for a dull moment before inhaling a very long nose-breath and pulling the sticking tongue off the roof of his mouth. "Yes, it really is quite lovely."
"She's with you?" Gen said, his voice several husky tones.
"I'm not taking he-"
"Do you know her,"
"No," Sol frowned, then glanced at the SkyWing and wince-smiled, shoving his wing in front of the hybrid. "He gets like this sometimes."
"Everything sacred," Gen cursed, flicking his tail at Sol's heels.
The hiss caught in his pleghm-lined throat, and the SolarWing coughed, sickly red scales reflecting the dimming lights above. An empty soda can tinned off his nose, and Sol's lean head snapped up.
"I recruited the SkyWing." Harper said, looking off to the gray-scale sky and motioning for Sol to drop his wing.
He did so, and Gen was gone.
"Introductions are for the sky," she said, stepping towards one of the two tarps and motioning down the stacked bins. "You have medical supplies, water, water," the woman coughed into her cowl and turned towards the second tarp. "Water, water, water. Sol, take this. Gen, take that. You can kill each other later, just get in the sky first. Eclipse, are you good?"
"Eclipse, our fearless leader," Sol quipped, trotting towards his tarp and gently gathering the double-layered edges. "Lead the way."
Gen's tarp crunched softly and manipulated itself into a sack.
Sol looked at the dangling supplies, flinching at the sight of a single pair of black talons gripping and suspended. He flicked his tongue between his teeth and shivered, looking back to the LunarWing.

(Ahehhehe I am WAY to busy to be fitting this in, yet here we are :D :D :D 💀 Enjoy banterous nonsense.)

Eclipse gave an exaggerated eyeroll, quickly collecting the folds of one of the tarps and bundling it together.
"I am Eclipse," the Lunarwing stated lowly, cocking her head at the fire-colored dragon. "These two are Prince Sol and Gen. We are all a little new to this rebellion, but the three of us have already had some heavy field activity the past few days. I'll be relying on you, Ember, for navigation to Oakenwatch once we're out of the city."
She turned to Harper.
"That's everything then?"

Lean and tall, very flexible and fast. Indigo-silver eyes, right eye has a very defined gold ring around the outside, like a ring of fire eclipse. She has one large gold scale on each wing shoulder. She always wears a silver neckband with diamonds embedded all the way around it and a round, black onyx set in a gold plate on the front.

Sand/Rain/HiveWing Mutation
Slimmer build, RainWing scales, typically black

A scene from early in the RP, decribed by Alincato and confirmed as acurate:
"He could turn invisible like a Rainwing, but he hardly resembled the easy-going tribe in any way. He had a tail stinger, though Alicanto couldn't tell if it was Sandwing or Hivewing, and he looked lean and quick. His claws were large and glittered dangerously as if dipped in black ink, and in the brief moment he had spoken, the Cloudwing had caught the glint of large, viper-like fangs nestled among his other razor-sharp teeth."

Eclipse gave an exaggerated eyeroll, quickly collecting the folds of one of the tarps and bundling it together.

"Everything." Harper agreed. "Watch the time, now. Do not grind yourselves useless, but also know your food situation will not balance well if you stop early."

"I'm happy to help," Ember said. "When do we leave? I have all my supplies here."
"Now."
Silver wings snapped open, the Luarwing launched herself up and forward, out of the hanger and into the evening sky. Eclipse threw a glance over her shoulder to ensure the others intended to follow.

(This might be one of the shortest parts I've written since the ✨glory days✨)

Ember stumbled forward and opened her wings, following the other dragons. She glanced back to make sure the others were following. When she faced forward again, Ember was awestruck by the vast city before her, the lights twinkling in the failing evening (morning?) glow. She gasped, taking in the beautiful view, before giving her full attention to her journey. Ember wasn't even entirely sure what she was here to do, but she promised she would behave and do whatever the other dragons said. She felt so young and inexperienced next to them, even though some were close to her age.

OK, so where are they going now?

Sol beat the air, and hovered beside Eclipse, yawning hot breath. Gen returned to sight with a flourish of color, shading himself just slightly above his surroundings so that he rippled and shimmered, and made them squint to discern his shape.
