Of Feathers And Flames- A Wings of Fire AU RP

A soundless wind flicked up above the massive hangar, dragging bits of sand in its current. Gen leaned on his left side and rubbed his chaffed ankles together. Flies dispersed at the disturbance.
He wanted to get into the air.
Sol touched down first, billowing his wings in a flaunty way, though his balance was still obviously obscure, and his confidence in the air seemed rather factitious.
"Are you prepared, Gen?" Said the red dragon, leaning to cough in his wing.
"Yes." Gen said, and arching his neck, he shook out his scales and snapped open his dark wings.
Sol leapt into the air again. "There are supplies in the hangar entry. Come grab stuff."
Gen nodded, and he trotted below Sol, dragging his talons through the bouts of sand build-up.

Eclipse waited beside the supplies, and Harper stood beside her. A bit off to the left stood a stranger, and Gen glanced at the dragon, promoting explanation.
(Ah, Cap, who's the stranger?)

Eclipse's wings were tight against her sides, a hidden tension pressed beneath the folds. Dark indigo eyes slit watchfully as Gen entered the hanger. The Lunarwing tracked him with an unflinching stare.
"Sol. Gen."
She gave a tight nod to the two dragons before flicking a wing at the young Skywing beside her.
"This is Ember. Apparently, she's a rookie from a small rebellion division in Oakendale. She'll be making the flight with us."
The sun had vanished by now, leaving a feverish half-glow in the evening sky. To the east, the few brightest stars would be appearing, if not for the hazy light of the city.
